Bidding adieu to a wonderful season in Gulmarg
Here in the Himalayas spring is knocking but still far away, we are passing a heavy snowstorm which will bring almost 4 ft of new snow, coming Wednesday will be the amazing powder and it will be the happy ending of the season. 2021 season was happy snow conditions with very stable snow, from the beginning of the season Avalanche conditions where moderate, most week snow got flashed due to heavy snowstorms, it was God’s best blessing!
Gulmarg ski resort will be closed for skiing from the first of April 2021, Gondola will remain open around the year for non-skiers. Skiing will be allowed on the mountain without ski patrollers, at your own risk, no rescue backup, no access Gondola.
And we are feeling very sad for our foreign guests who miss the winter in Kashmir India 🇮🇳 due to covid restrictions. We pray for everyone’s good health so that we can ski again next season 2022 Gulmarg Kashmir.

Skiing in Gulmarg Ski Resort – Season Update 2021
Gulmarg ski resort is open for skiing, Avalanche control work was done this week. The last storm of two metres of snow flashed all week snow, most of the mountain is pretty stable, except some patches on the south-side, wind deposits. Yesterday was a great day of powder, fewer people compare to normal seasons. We have no covid in Gulmarg Ski resort only powder.
